With more than 22 years of nursing experience, Tracie Jones, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWOCN, HCS-D, COS-C, MBA-HC, partners with healthcare organizations, clinicians, and patients to deliver practical, evidence based solutions that improve quality outcomes, strengthen regulatory compliance, and advance clinical excellence. Her unique combination of advanced clinical expertise, executive leadership, healthcare administration, and education allows her to bridge the gap between best practice and real world implementation across the continuum of care.
As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Tracie has dedicated her career to improving the lives of patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders while helping healthcare organizations build sustainable, high quality clinical programs. She has served in executive leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Administrator, Director of Nursing, Corporate Compliance Officer, Clinical Consultant, Continuing Nursing Education Unit Director, and Utilization Review and Diagnostic Coding Specialist, bringing extensive experience in both patient care and healthcare operations.

As the Founder and CEO of East Texas Wound & Ostomy Specialists, LLC, Tracie provides specialized consulting services for home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, physician practices, and other healthcare organizations. Her expertise includes advanced wound and ostomy care, home health administration, regulatory compliance, OASIS, ICD 10 coding, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), survey readiness, Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs), chart audits, plans of correction, policy development, clinical operations, and staff development. She is passionate about helping organizations improve quality, reduce regulatory risk, and achieve operational excellence through practical, evidence based strategies.
Educator & Presenter
Tracie is also a nationally recognized educator committed to advancing the nursing profession through high quality continuing education. She has developed and presented hundreds of continuing nursing education activities and provides accredited educational programs in advanced wound care, ostomy management, home health administration, OASIS, documentation excellence, regulatory compliance, and leadership development. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) activities are accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing and are available through on demand courses, live webinars, and onsite training.

She is an author and national conference presenter whose work has focused on wound care, ostomy management, pressure injury prevention, and home health quality improvement.
